Won a bronze medal at the Japan Wine Competition
Yukikawa Brewery's Snow River Chardonnay Hachi 2024 won the Bronze Award at the Japan Wine Competition 2025 , which was announced on July 25, 2025.

The competition has been held since 2003 by the Japan Wine Competition Executive Committee with the following aims:
The Japan Wine Competition is a competition for Japanese wines made from 100% domestically grown grapes. It has been held since 2003 with the aim of improving the quality and recognition of Japanese wines, as well as enhancing the image of each wine-producing region and the individuality and status of Japanese wines.
The competition is organized by an executive committee consisting of wine brewers' associations from Japan's four major wine-producing prefectures (Hokkaido, Yamagata, Yamanashi, and Nagano), the Japan Wineries Association, the Japan Sommelier Association, the Wine Technology Research Association, the University of Yamanashi Wine Science Research Center, and Yamanashi Prefecture.
There are 12 categories in total, including red and white European varieties, red and white domestically improved varieties, Koshu, rosé, and sparkling wine, and in each category, Grand Gold, Gold, Silver, Bronze, Best in Category, and Cost Performance Awards are selected.
This year, there were 202 entries in the "European Variety White" award category, with 92 winning prizes and 58 receiving bronze medals. This is Yukikawa Brewery's first award at this competition.
This result is thanks to all of you who have always supported us. Looking at the list of winning wines makes me feel humbled. Thank you very much.
We will continue to work hard to create wines that you can enjoy in your daily lives. We appreciate your continued patronage.
