Snow River Pinot Gris Hachi 2024
This white wine is made from Hokkaido-grown Pinot Gris grapes, with a well-balanced fruitiness and cool acidity.
We use 100% Pinot Gris from Ishikari City, Hokkaido, to create a wine that can be enjoyed at the dinner table every day, with an exquisite balance of flavor and acidity.
The color is a pale lemon yellow with a slight beige tint.
The aroma has a sweet fruity aroma of honey and yellow peach, with refreshing fruit flavors of lemon peel, pear, and apricot.
The taste starts with the oily flavor typical of Pinot Gris, followed by a balance of rich fruitiness and refreshing acidity, and finally a slight bitterness lingers in the mouth.
Good pairings include Caprese, salt-fried pork belly and bean sprouts, sea bream aquapazza, and grilled salted mackerel.
