Snow River Sauvignon Blanc Hachi 2023
A fragrant white wine made from 100% Hokkaido-grown Sauvignon Blanc grapes.
Aiming to create a wine that can be enjoyed at the dinner table every day, this fragrant white wine is made using 100% Sauvignon Blanc from Ishikari City, Hokkaido. It is named "Sauvignon Blanc Hachi" after the name of the place where the vineyards are located.
The color is a pale lemon yellow with a slight beige tint.
The aroma is of hay that has been thoroughly dried in the sun, with citrus notes like Unshu mandarins and a soft, sweet scent like honey flickering behind it.
When you put it in your mouth, you will feel a comfortable, firm attack with just the right amount of acidity and a well-balanced taste, as well as a dashi-like, savory flavor and a faintly bitter aftertaste.
We recommend serving it at a slightly higher temperature (14-16℃).
Good pairings include sauteed chicken breast with ponzu sauce, kelp-cured white fish salad, and hijiki seaweed stir-fried with sesame oil.
